200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)

150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Method
For the Cordial: Place all the components in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing so the sugar melts. After that, remove from the heat and leave to reach room temperature fully. Pour into a sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for about one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquids into a big jug, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through best through muslin, so it's completely strained.
For serving: Pour 85ml of your premix to a stirring glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for about 60 seconds until cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass or similar, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it with a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the drink.
